This Home School Program is know by a couple of names.  Accelerated Christian Education and School of Tomorrow - Home School Curriculum.

My children have always had Christian education whether it be in a private school or home schooling.  My husband and I wanted our children to not only be educated but to also be spiritually educated.  3 of our children attend a local private Christian School.  Our oldest graduated this past May from the same school. Prior to their attendance to this school I home schooled our two oldest children for about 6 years.  I would like to share the curriculum and our experiences with you.

I found the program to be reasonably priced per grade.  If the child can read and write well the child can do the program without a problem.  The program is basically a self-taught curriculum monitored by the parent(s).  You receive 60 unit PACES (workbooks) per grade.  That would be 12 each of 5 the required subjects.  The child sets a daily page goal according to their age, grade level, and their personal ambitious spirit.  You also receive the answer books, and tests for each unit PACE along with the test answer key.  Once the child completes their daily goal they should try to do more pages each day in each PACE by doing so they will complete their grade year in advance.  When the daily goal is finished and extra pages are completed the child is finished schooling for the day and can actually complete schooling in 3.5 hours a day.  You can also take the program with you were ever you go if you need to go to the doctors ,or have any other important appointment.  The children can do their work on the go.  My oldest child graduated at age 16 from high school and my second oldest is two years ahead.  Using a progam like this is great for self motivated children or children who get bored at school because the teacher is teaching slower than their learning ability.   I found the program to be very helpful and I only stopped home schooling because my husband needed my help full time at his business, and I found it difficult to work full time, be a wife, mother of 4, be involved in ministries, speak, take care of a house, and home school or else I would still be doing it.

A Complete Curriculum To Meet Your Needs

In answer to today's educational dilemma, highly skilled personnel in the Product Development Division are constantly working on all phases of curriculum development at Accelerated Christian Education.

Drawing on their experience, expertise, and knowledge of how children learn, Accelerated Christian Education staff research and develop curriculum that is highly motivational and challenging. Editors and proofers, working closely with the writers, review and polish all manuscripts. After final approval, word-processing personnel typeset the content, and graphic artists enhance the text with interesting and colorful illustrations and photographs.

Before printing, all curriculum is checked by quality control personnel to assure the highest standard of accuracy and academic excellence. For additional verification, much of the curriculum is field tested.

In all steps of the development process, current technology provides the ultimate in productivity with the highest standard of quality. Every manuscript meets educational requirements and adheres to biblical precepts.

On a parallel track, Accelerated Christian Education develops various state-of-the-art multimedia products. The Instructional Design Department develops material for Accelerated Christian Education Interactive Multimedia courses. Software Development produces developmental tools, educational programs, and record-keeping software. The Accelerated Christian Education Management System is a complete database program for schools using the Accelerated Christian Education program. The school my children now attend uses the Beka program from Pennsacola Christian Academy and BJU press too. I love both curriculums. I find it very advanced compared to other schools. The paces are gr8 but not for everyone. Thanks for sharing...-Joanne

I graduated from a Christian school that uses the Beka program from Pennsacola Christian Academy and BJU press. I had friends in my youth group that did the paces program and most of them loved it.

My oldest daughters were both home schooled for 9 years and were better for it. I also am well aware of the time commitment required to do it right. Its the kind of thing, if you aren't going to do it "all in", please, please don't do it. Great review!

Your welcome, and I do feel a little bad about stopping but maybe someday my husband won't need me to help so much and I can do it again. Thanks Joanne
