Writer Jenna Glatzer started absolutewrite.com years ago, and although she has given it up after having a baby, the site still runs along smoothly. It has three newsletters: a general one, Absolute Markets, and a premium edition which is by paid subscription. The general newsletter has an editorial and articles from various authors. There are also contests and links to the forums which is about every kind of freelance writing imaginable. Writer news, a writer's prompt, and reader requests are also in the newsletter. The markets newsletter has just what it says writing markets including foreign ones. The premium edition has freelance writing jobs galore. It takes a while to read that one. The website has an example of a book proposal by Glatzer, classes, and writer's guidelines for those who want to write for the newsletter. MacAllister Stone is the editor-in-chief who replaced Glatzer, and even though it takes getting used to, the change in management has not affected the newsletters.
