"Absolute Power" remains one of my top "can't put it down" reads. I think I read it in one night, taking breaks only when necessary! What would you do if you were an older, accomplished burglar and while in the midst of a caper, became an unwilling and hidden witness to a murder involving the highest office in the land? The story builds in suspense, rolicking through many a twist and turn. If you think because you might have seen the movie starring Clint Eastwood, that there's no reason to read the book, you're wrong. They TOTALLY changed the story, removing the protagonist ENTIRELY!!

If you like a fast paced, suspenseful read with with well thought out characters, give this one a try.
