I absolutely believe in this product. It is highly effective and useful. I absolutely hate having to go to the doctor's office too. That's one of the reasons why Azo Standard is a very innovative medication because not only does it work, it saves me a lot of the frustration of dealing with the actual symptoms of a U.T.I. while I wait for the antibiotics to kick in. It offers same day relief of symptoms and is quite effective. However, I would like to note that this over the counter medication does not treat the actual infection but rather, the symptoms that appear as a result of it. It can be purchased without having to ask the pharmacist for it from behind the counter - which in essence saves much of the embarrassment associated with this sort of thing. It isn't as pricey as I initially expected it to be either. I have noticed that it is most effective for me in the areas of pain reduction and easing the urgency and uncomfortable pressure and frequency in urination. It's really great because you can at least get immediate relief of the symptoms while waiting on the cure.

I don't quite remember how I introduced myself to AZO but I do know I was having a very uncomfortable urniary problem and it was the first time for me. Usually I'll go to the drug store and get the cheapest medicine I can find but I somehow ended up buying AZO. It took a little while for it to work so I suggest drinking a lot of fluids before, during, and after use. Also, please read the directions before use because I only read the immediate directions about how many to take and an hour later I was terrified to see... if I may... that I was urinating funny colors. Red, orange, and yellow to be exact. I thought my condition was worse off than I thought but no, it's just the medicine doing its job. Sorry if that's a little graphic but I couldn't find an easier way to relay the experience. I'm just telling you what to expect. The product did work. I was right as rain within an hour or two. I used it from that day on but I think my body is now too used to it because it't not having the same effect on me as usual.
