the Free version is not bad

Pros

    effective, efficient, free, up to date

Cons
    Does use more ram then I would like, is ONLY antivirus, allows some span in on the free version

the AVG antivirus free edition is not bad for what  you pay for.  it will keep the bugs away MOST of the time. but beware, it will let in spam that is associated with AVG (but this is normal from any Anti-virus tho)  I do however think that this is one of the best FREE Anti-virus on the market.
