AVG Antivirus Free Edition Review

I've been working with computers for 10 years and I put this on every one that I touch.  So many people come to me with "my computer is slow and I don't have money for a new one".  Well this one's free, works just as good and won't bog down your system with bloated garbage running behind the scenes so you may not even need a new one or can at least get a few more laps out of it.  I garauntee that if you have Norton or McAfee or whatever else that you will see a speed increase when you switch to AVG.  I've never had a single file lost due to a virus while running AVG.  The virus definitions are updated frequently and the updates are quick and painless.  Installation and removal are cake so there really is nothing to lose.  Combine this with Spybot, Search and Destroy for the best, free-est way to safeguard your computer against all the crap that is floating around the internets nowadays.  Take it from me, why pay for something when you can get it for free.
