AVG Antivirus Free Edition —

I've been using Grisoft's AVG Free Edition for eight years. Throughout the years the software has become a bit "bloaty" (computer resources hoggy), and takes an awful lot of time to load at start up on the laptop I most often use.

That said, this is a free product, after all, and has spared me a good deal of grief over the years in terms of virus-flavor-of-the-month. Scares the daylights out of me when it does spot a bugged file and pops up *out of nowhere* a dire virus ALERT! That's a configurable feature (thankfully) alongside many other configurables in this very nice, reliable, free software.

Probably my biggest high 5 for Grisoft is that it offers one of the least intrusive softwares of all antivirus products on the market. And I think I have actually, at one time or another, tried them all.

Absolutely recommend it!
