AVG Antivirus Free Edition —

AVG anti-virus software is the best free anti-virus software I've used. I have used a lot of anti-virus softwares, free and paid, and AVG stands out in various aspects; it's user friendly, it has daily updates, so it has the most efficient virus database I've experienced, doesn't take much hard drive space, you can run scans whenever needed or you can schedule your scans and much other characteristics, but one of the best it's the e-mail scanning.

The best part of AVG is that it's free, and so easy to use for those of us that aren't very tech-savvy, it really is best experience I've ever had with anti-virus software. Another aspect I'm grateful for is that AVG doesn't interfere with your system. Some paid anti-virus softwares can become a nightmare interfering with all of your system.

AVG does what it's meant too and it does it efficiently and very user friendly. It's the only anti-virus I've used that I feel comfortable recommending. No other anti-virus software that I've used, has been more effective.

I have heard a lot about this program and may have to give it a try with the next computer I build.
