We were previously with Cingular and converted to A T & T when they merged. The two biggest draws for us were the family plan ( there are four of us and we all have phones), and the rollover minutes. The rollover minutes are big. If you've ever gone over your minutes, you know the costs roll up quickly. With rollover, we have more than enough minutes and don't have to worry about going over. Their family plan and mobile to mobile access are cost savers for us also. With two daughters away at college, we can talk as much as desire and not have to worry about costs. One negative is that the mobile to mobile for free is limited to A T & T customers. When we lived in Maryland, there were a few connection problems but those have been resolved since we moved to Georgia.
We experienced one situation where we had to call customer service. They were extremely courteous and helpful. To resolve the issue, even though they were 99% correct, they gave us 1000 extra rollover minutes. We've been happy with the service and the phones we secured through them.
