AT&T - home phone line Reviews

I used AT&T for years for my home phone until I got one of their cell phones which didn't work at my house. The service rep was rude and said the phone was in the service area. OK honey. You come try it. It didn't get a signal at my house - period. Took me 6 months to get my money back. I switched to Time Warner for my landline phone over that.

The nice sign up deal at Time Warner ran out, and I'm paying $177/month for phone, TV, and internet. That's almost double the initial year or two contract. And, I hardly ever use the phone and rarely watch TV.

At&t home phone is very good. I've had them almost a year and no problems yet. I got Timewarner cable tv,home phone internet in 2006 and i kept having problem with them plus they raise our bill too high. When i got time warner cable phone the bill was suppose to be 3 items for $99 a month. The cable bill started out good next thing we know in Dec. 2008 our bill was $295. My husband & I call At&t and see what our bill would be like. Then next thing we knew we got house phone for $40 a month unlimited local & long distance and internet for $25 a month. Our At&t bill is aout $78 a month after taxes....

It is good phone service. They dont always have the nicest people answering their phones but they have good service.
