AT&T - 5.8 Digital E580-1 Review

This is the best telephone we have ever had. I bought this phone on clearance at Walmart years ago. I am so sorry I did not pick up an additional one. I usually do a lot of research before I make purchase so this phone probably had one of the highest ratings somewhere online and it certainly deserves it. It comes loaded with features. The range is more than 300 feet before the sound quality begins to degrade. It has a speaker on the handset convenient if you have difficulty holing the phone to your ear. We have never had one problem with it and the batteries seem to last forever. The handsets have been dropped time and time again, but they are sturdy enough to handle the abuse. The sound is very clear. The only con is that when you use the speakerphone on the handset if there are loud noises in the background, it will overpower the person speaking or what you are saying. An example would be if someone is driving in a car with their window open, you can hear the noise. This product is truly fantastic otherwise.
