Cons
Hard to upgrade/change plan mid-contract, NONE of my friends have AT&T/Cingular!!!

SECOND TIME!!! I wrote a LONG review, hit PUBLISH, and it wanted me to "sign up" and it lost my whole review!!!  =( So, here goes AGAIN................

AT&T has decent customer service, and in nearly two years I have NEVER ONCE DROPPED A CALL!!! And believe me, I make and receive a lot of calls. However, I never went over my minutes until January 2008. I called AT&T customer service to upgrade to the next higher plan without extending my contract. I was so confused about what I was told, that I had the CSR repeat what she told me about 5 times, just to be sure I head her right. Basically, for a NEW plan, it would have been $59.99/month. But for me to upgrade with only a few months of my contract left, it would cost me $79.99/month for that SAME PLAN with the same amount of minutes!!! WHAT!?! Where was the customer loyalty incentive here? Basically, she left me with nothing but a bad taste in my mouth for this company and I told her to forget it. I would just finish out the last few months of my contract with what minutes I had each month, and just be more careful not to go over again.

I think the wording and explanation on my first review were A LOT better, but hopefully you get the gist.
