This is the phone company I have. I love that there is no issue when using AT&T on a daily and even on vacations. I love that AT&T has 5gE service for their customer which makes my phone work quickly and efficiently. In a heart beat, will make my family switch to this provider so they can the same amazing experience that I am having.
I have been with At&t for a year now. I haven't had any issues with my service.
Trying to rip me off
I have been an AT&T customer for more years than I'd like to admit. Decades, actually. After today's attempt at cheating me, I may finally leave them. Specifically, I called to ask if they have any senior plans similar to T-Mobile's--thus the agent knew I'm a senior (which too many ill-minded people think can easily be ripped off, unfortunately). After the woman responded that they had no equivalent plan she said "your plan says you're eligible for a free iPhone 6s." I asked why would I want to downgrade from my iPhone X? We talked, and based on answers to me very pointed questions, she promised me she could send me the phone "at no cost to me" except sales tax. When I told her I'm in a no tax state she confirmed (after supposedly talking with her boss) she'd send the phone at absolutely no cost to me. I asked if I had to activate it or if I could keep it as a non-activated phone. She confirmed the latter. So I said, fine, send me the phone. A short while later I got an email which had a link for me to confirm the "order" (which was not an order--she promised to send me a free phone, period). In reading through that email, if I agree to the shipment, they will activate my phone automatically in seven days, billing me $499.99--hardly the "free phone" that need not be activated the agent promised she'd send me. There were further points in our discussion which assured me 100% this was purely a gift, not something I'd have to pay a penny for, but I won't detail them all here. Rather, I'll be on the phone with AT&T Corporate tomorrow to find out why they're allowing their call centers to try to scam long time senior citizen customers. Beware!
the perfect meh company
i have had AT&T for 10 years i have a total of 5 devices on my cell phone plain along with a little wifi box, i also have U-Verse, and Direct TV. i say they are meh because i think for the amount of items i have on my cell plain i pay 369.88 a month. i have unlimited data, 4 smart phones a tablet, and a little wifi hotspot box. i never go over on data or calling/texting so there is never anything really added to the bill as far as overages go. they have a amazing selection of devices, a great rewards program, and if you bundle all their services you get discounts. every time i have needed to call them they have always been kind, and informative. i very very rarely have to call them, and when i do its about fixing a existing device, or when i have questions about my bill. the only bad thing i have noticed here recently is the U-Verse outages have went up, and the plains in my area for uverse are on the slower end, but im still able to run 10+ devices and game online without much issues, i have gone over on my uverse data once and was "slowed" down, but i never saw much of a difference in the means of online gaming. i do live in a small town, with maybe a total of 22,000 in the whole county, so that could be the reason i dont experience, to much of a difference, and why my plains are limited. i have felt that the TV service DirecTV has slowly been going up in price, i went from paying 105 a month for 4 TVS, 220 HD channels and HBO, and after 4 months of is going up, i now pay 155 for the same thing, uverse stay at a steady 75 a month, and i think 368 is really good for 5 smart devices and a wifi service. for a screen repair its easy to, setting a time and date online for a person to visit your home and fix it with in a hour or less, to getting promos for directv, to even getting free movie tickets and other free things with the at&t rewards program/app.
i would like to see more discounts when you have more of their services, but the rewards program is amazing too
Service is good but customer service laxks
I've been a customer since 2005. Throughout the years, the service itself hasn't been an issue. No huge issues with dropped calls or service outages. When it comes to billing issues and customer service support, it is absurd! I've had a manager on the phone straight up disrespect me and I can't count the lies told on pricing. It's very frustrating!
Best service ever.
I first want to say that before switching over to at&t, I was with virgin mobile. I would consistently have problems with my cell service. I would hardly ever get 4G and when I would it would normally be somewhere away from home, Like in a big city. Anyways, I decided to make the switch to at&t only becasue they claim to have 4G in 99% of the state I currently reside in. The day I brought my phone I had 4G all the way home, even in the country! Which is pretty amazing if you ask me. I have had this service for almost two months now and I have not had any problems. I did stick with the prepaid plan, and I honestly would never go back to Virgin. I will say, I was porting over my phone and the customer service lady that helped me "Melody" was SUPER nice, we got disconnected and she called me right back and was very helpful. I love my at&t service and I won't go anywhere.
I have 10 phone lines and 4 tablets with them .they are amazing when it comes to any kind of service.we had a few phone broken on us and 123 they send a new one the next day .send the broken one back and that's it.amazing when you need to call them .i would never get any other phone service......i love at&t
The service here in San Angelo, Tx was very good at one time. They are now a lackluster memory. At one time they provided their self on customer service. The local stores still do. However the entire company and their call staff is very very questionable... I would not recommend this company to anyone in the San Angelo Texas area.
I can confidently say that they have one of the best customer service and staff in the country.
Worst customer service EVER
I signed up during a buy one get one free offer. When creating my account the staff member made an error and this error canceled my promotion. Long story short after 4 months and over 100 hours on the phone, 3 unwarranted termination of services. I was put into collections. I took it to ATT presidents office who could help. Now im working with the State public commissios dept
