AT&T is what we use

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I like AT&T. With great customer service, and rollover minutes as a feature, I cannot really complain. I know that it is pricey though. I hate that they are getting quite expensive just to be able to carry around a cell phone device with minutes! I think this is the only con I have with them. I like that they have various options for monthly minute plans, but they did take away their lowest minute plans and one has to choose a more expensive but not budget friendly option. I do not like having a service plan, I think it is just so much for what you want! I really wish that they would creat an economical plan! Yet, again we use it. We were not happy using Verizon, because of their cu...

Expensive and untruthful

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

We have been customers of AT&T for six and a half years.  At the time we wanted a good family plan so we switched from Verizon.  Most of that time they were pretty good but the last contract we signed also included an air card (unlimited) and recently we were told that we did not have an unlimited plan and our account was blocked and we could not access the internet.  Tech support unlocked it and we never incurred extra charges because we were on an unlimited plan.  After spending hours and hours trying to get the problem fixed and talking to a supervisor, I was told that the only way they would unblock our account was if we changed to another plan.  We refused as we knew our account was unlimited.  What a way to try and get people of unlimited plans by not being truthful with them.  Since we have learned that last summer they have been moving people off unlimited plans.  Now that our contract expired, we moved to T-Mobile and are paying MUCH less with no contract at all.

At&T is the best!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

AT&T is a real good cell phone company. I have had them for a cell phone company now since before they bought it from cingular.

What I like about the company is there is that you can make it to where you have a certain amount of unlimited amount of minutes that you can use for the month . If you don't use all of those minutes it rolls over to the next month.Another thing that I like about this company a lot is that everyone that you call that has a At&t phone it doesn't take away any of your minutes to call them. It is free to call them. Most of the people I call has a AT&t cellphone so that makes it real nice. They have family plans too and I have that. To where it cost $10 more a month pe...

Why I switched to AT&T

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I decided to switch from Verizon to AT&T 18 months ago so that I could get the Iphone. No regrets! They have the best customer service. I was even given a $50 credit just for calling in to see about roaming charges and they adjusted the roaming charges! You never have to worry about going over your minutes with the Rollover minutes, free mobile to ANY mobile and free nights and weekends. I also have 10 #'s that I can call and talk as long as I want at no charge. These numbers can be changed at any time but takes 24 hours to change. The service is getting better I think as far as coverage goes. I don't have any problems with service and I travel quite a bit. The only problem area I know of is in Ohio.

Really good, not the best but do not know because it could be

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have been with ATT for about 2 years, I do not know if they are the best because I have never tried Verizon because stupid credit. Yet ATT serves my needs really well. I have an iPhone 3GS and really love it, if I am not in the coverage area and there is Wi-Fi then I can use Skype for my calling. ATT does have some problems but I do not care what you are, all this new technology there is sometimes going to be problems, people should not get so upset if you are using at least 3G. I just got a T-mobile phone and like the phone yet there service in my area is not in 3G, least my ATT phone is in 3G. If you want some good smartphones I would get ATT because they least have 3G in least the cities at least 30,000, I do not like ATT when it comes to some areas, like where my mom lives, no coverage at all. One last thing, there rollover minutes expire in certain times, which I did not know about.

Just what I need

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I was originally a Cingular customer.  Since the switch to AT&T I have had no issues.  I am now out of contract, and still have my original phone.  I was interested in getting a new phone, At&T wants me to pay a crazy amount or get a new contract.  I only use my phone for calls not for the fancy stuff.  I do not have a color screen or anything. So I am waiting until I am no longer able to use the phone that I have.  I think that if you have been a long time customer, you should be able to get an upgrade to your phone, even if you are out of contract.  I am still paying for monthly service.

can you hear me now ? NO!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

So for all the commercials they have you would think they would put their money where their mouths are. One of the worst cellphone providers ever.  Going to clients homes i need to be able to have my phone ring an they would always blame it on everything from sun spots to the dog ate it ie the signal.  Even in my house i could not talk on my phone in several rooms mainly my bedroom.  They said oh you have to many wireless devices in your house.  Or once they even said it was the phone i bought from them that was the problem ha ha ha i say why sell it if you know there are connection issues with it? I was told oh there are 3 towers in your area so service should work. Finally gave up an decided rather than pay almost 100 dollars a month better to change to better service provider for more bells an whistles for a lot less.

at&t works but still expensive

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have had at&t for 7 years, and while I have been satisfied, I am planning to switch once my contract runs out this year.  Among the major providers, I still think at&t is the best, they have the best coverage at least where I go, the prices are comparable, and most of my friends have it so most of my minutes are mobile to mobile minutes.  However... now that straight talk has come, I will be switching to that, I have done tons of research and for the price they just cannot be beat.  I'm sick of signing 2 year contracts and not being able to have a data plan because they cost too much, it's just one big rip off.  While I'm not looking forward to paying for my phone, in t...

I'm ready for a change

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I have had AT&T for many years and at this point I am ready to change to a different company. Recently, my Blackberry stopped working after 6 months.  They offered to send me a replacement phone. The first replacement phone took over 17 days to get. After a week few they stopped tracking it assuming that I received the phone already. When I called to complain the customer service rep gave me an attitude and told me I would be lucky if I got the next phone that was shipped over night. When I called back after 4 more days, a rep told me she never processed the order.  When the third phone was shipped and finally received the speaker didn't work so I could not hear anything or be hear...

AT&T is a provider of the recent past

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have been with AT&T for almost 6 years now and have always had thousands of rollover minutes which I never used and eventually which disappeared (because after a year or something they expire). And other than the rollover minutes, AT&T had nothing else over verizon, except that AT&T had service at my house while Verizon did not. So I kept AT&T despite the unimpressiveness. Talked to Verizon this year and compared their Droid X to AT&T 's top phone right now, the IPhone, and the difference in cost and quality was drastic. AT&T stores in my area are empty looking and feeling, not friendly or inviting, and thus not making me feel comfortable enough to trust them or purchase their product again.

Verizon tops AT&T no hands down right now and AT&T needs to step it up big time if they are going to stay in competition. Everyone I know right now is either with Verizon or doesn't have a cell phone period.

AT&T is a decent provider

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I've used AT&T as my cell phone provider for 5 years.  I used to have Verizon, but AT&T gets better reception where I am.  The customer service for this cell phone provider has always been friendly and helpful when I've called, although I've had to call them very little.  I like the option of paying my bill very easily from my cell phone with just a few touches of some buttons.  AT&T has competitive offers like roll-over minutes.  Roll-Over minutes is not something I enjoyed with Verizon, and they are very useful!  I don't have to worry about going over minutes!  I always take advantage of their offer to get free phones with a two-year contract.  This past time I renewed, they had several nice phones that you had to sign up to pay at least $20 a month in data to even get the phone.  I thought that was ridiculous.  I should be able to get any free phone that they offer without being required to spend $20 every month on data.  Overall, I am satisfied with their service.

So glad I switched to AT and T!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I switched to AT&T last year in order to get the iPhone. I had heard some mixed reviews about AT&T as a provider but I was determined to have the iPhone, so AT&T it was. I have to say that I have not had any problems with the service since I have had it. I am able to use my phone in the mall which I was never able to do with my old service provider. I have traveled from Las Vegas to driving on the beach in North Carolina and I have been able to use my phone there and everywhere in between. I love the iPhone as well! It is awesome! At the time my fiance and I were unsure about paying to disconnect our old service but now we could not be happier that we switched. A lot of people think that AT&T has a lot of dropped calls but I have not experienced this at all. In fact my old provider which is one of the biggest providers out there used to drop more calls than AT&T does. I have never been more happy with a cell phone provider!

Best for my area

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I've been a customer of AT&T for 10+years. I've had good and bad experiences along the way. AT&T is probably the best value for me and my family. The coverage does pretty well for me on a day to day basis and generally anywhere I travel it can be used unless its in the country. I've not had to deal with customer service nearly as much over the last few years; but the last few experiences have been more positive in the past and it may be due to my knowledge of the service they offer.  In past experiences I found customer service representatives were not knowledgeable enough to help and I would get contradicting explanations with different representatives.  Since I've been a customer for 10+ years I can't be too unhappy; but again in my area the options for cell service are limited. I have always been a budget conscious person but finally decided to swtich my service to the iPhone and I am so glad that I made the switch!

AT&T- Worst customer service in the industry in my experience

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

Wow. Where to start. I have been a customer for about 7 years I'd say. I have stayed with AT&T only because the service where I live is better than some other carriers. It is a mountain, rural area with plenty of dead zones. So, I have had several different phones over time, several rate changes at a moment's notice, no letter or phone call, just charges that simply show up. If I am lucky enough to notice them right away, I call, I wait for generally a half hour before I get an answer to my question, "What is this charge? Please take it off my bill, I did not ask for it." I was charged for gps when my husband and I started a family line for a 30 day trial, i didn't want the trial and they wo...

Awesome Provider

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

i think AT&T is an awesome provider. They help you with your problems and give back your money when you give a good reason that something is wrong with your biil. When I was doing those 9 dollars a month things on your phone, I text stop and they said I was unscribed. The phone bill told me I owed $100 so I called them up and they saw that I unscribed and gave back my 100 dollars. I was very happy they gave it back and from then on, I never did those 9 dollars a month things. Also, I never dropped a call with this service and the internet is pretty good. The service is also pretty cheap and I been with at&t for about 4 years now and they had never let me down and they have excellent services. The only thing I hate is that is that when your sign up for the 2 year contract you can't get out unless you want to pay extra. Other then that, you should get this provider because of excellent abd reliable service. You will like it once you get it.
