I have been a Time Warner Cable customer my entire life and when I saw that with AT&T UVerse I only needed 1 DVR and saw some of the cool features (i.e. Guide) I thought i'd give them a try.

First, installation literally took about 6 hours. The AT&T guy was nice however he just couldn't get the system to work properly. He tried everything and and the image i was getting was very bad, looked like a scratched tv. He ended up telling me that he would need to come back in a few days to try to fix it. I had to call him for a few days until he finally came back. He ended up doing some work that was probably not legal according to him as he used some of Time Warner's line or something like that. He basically said it would get "dirty". He ended up making some changes and 1 of my TVs was working great however 2 of them were still very bad.

The seethrough guide is really not good as when you are searching through other channels you can't see what you're currently watching anymore. You could see other channels but you can't see what you're watching, it's really not that seethrough.

The channel line is really confusing, especially for kids. They have to memorize all of these crazy channels in the 300s and 600s, thats nuts.

The HD quality was pretty good but the standard quality was very bad.

The DVR also was not that great. It's not very user friendly and unfortunately you can't select what you want to record from all of the boxes, you have to use the main box.

The remote control is also cumberson. The light on the remote only lights up some buttons so in the middle of the night you can't see all of the buttons.

They ended up running wires all over my house and maknig holes in my walls to transfer cables and it never ended up working properly, quality just sucked.

I ended up cancelling.

Overall, they seem to have a product with potential however there are still too many glitches they need to work out. I'll probably give them a try again in a few years once they've ironed out teh kinks. Having said that, depending on where you live you may have a better experience so it might be worth trying out.

Hope this helps.
