Frequently shows are interrupted at our house because UVerse freezes, locks up and skips segments of shows. This is the worst, most frustrating service we've EVER had. We NEVER had problems like this with Comcast. We can rarely watch a recorded show because it's constantly interrupted and it skips, so you never quite know what you missed.
If we dare call for help, we're sure to speak with a rep in another country and definitely are guaranteed to sit on hold or if we are able to speak with a rep, we have to continuously repeat our issue-mode for at least an hour. We'd love to have any of our technical issues resolved, but my husband is a vp with a large company and I am a teacher.. leaving us zero time to devote to the required hours of wasted time on the phone.
The only reason we got AT&T was that I wanted an iPhone, which I love, it's the carrier and service that I completely loathe.
Installing the service was a nightmare because the tech spent 8 hours installing wires & cables all throughout our house and we never did get our house phone switched over. For some reason, AT&T royally screwed that one up. We've spent hours and hours on the phone (cell phones) trying to resolve the "porting issues" to no avail. We finally gave up and use our cells for everything. So it's a win-win for AT&T, they charge us more for using our cel phones and since they didn't get the land line connected, we were NEVER given the promotional $200 for signing up for all 3 services (wireless, which CONSTANTLY needs to be reset and freezes, TV-same and a non existent land line). We've since lost our land line phone number that everyone had, including the schools where our 4 children attend. We sincerely dislike AT&T and would switch in a heartbeat if they didn't make it such a venomously tanlged web to try to leave.
Ugh
