This is a great phone. It has everything you need. If you are always on the go, this is great. Allows you to receive all your emails as well as know where you are or if you get lost you can use the GPS on the phone. — — The Good:Technology: The Blackberry curve 8300 works with global GSM frequencies , a convenient feature for overseas travelers. (Note that additional roaming charges from your home carrier generally apply) (score: 7/7) — Talk Time: 240 minutes of talking time. It is good enough! a PC User, Every day computer user, always online, a techie
I like the blackberry curve. I have not tinker with all the features. Those features that I have used I enjoy. One thing I have not been able to find an answer to: I marked a reocurring calendar entry as private and I have not found a way to remove the mark because I no longer want it private, but to reocurr. Plus, I do not get a reminder notification for a private entry, that is why I want to remove the mark. — I need to purchase a media card before I can get the music download. I was not aware of that when I purchased the phone.…

Every day computer user, somewhat tech savvy
The Blackberry Curve finally arrived at Verizon, and I bought one the first day it was offered. After owning literally dozens of phones/PDAs in the past, I have finally found the best. The interface is simple, the battery life astounding, and best of all, it just works. My last phone was the Motorola Q, and it was horrible. It kept rebooting all the time, and took 15 minutes to boot and find our corporate Exchange server. The Curve is rock-solid, and takes 4 seconds to boot and be ready for e-mail. (I have timed it several times because I was so…

glad to have it, a busy person, stuck to my Blackberry, a woman, twenty something
I purchased the BlackBerry Curve in June of 07, and I don't know how I went so long without a phone like this! It's just the right size for me (compared to the Treo), I have square tip nails so typing is a breeze. Being able to access the internet at anytime is a huge plus. The phone itself came with a decent selection of ringtones and backgrounds, so you're not stuck listening to a ringtone that doesn't fit your style. Even the littlest applications like Memopad or Tasks have proven to be helpful in some situations. I'll be with this phone for a while.…

computer challenged, cost-conscious, into trying new things, a pet owner, Open-minded, value conscious
Umm so i really dont get the point of having this contraption. I am not savvy at technological advances but for god sake it took me three days to read the first paragraph in the owners manuel. I know that most of the time on a new gadget it is trial by error, that you have to play with it in order to figure it out but man did i have a hard time. I dont think this phone is worht the 300 that i paid for it. The telenav is always broken, and it freezes all the time thanks to it being a computer! I say major thumbs…

a busy person, Every day computer user
The Blackberry Curve allows me to access my email when I'm away from my office. That's key for me, as a consultant. I also use the calendar and the address book extensively. Have had it for about 6 months with no problems. Some people complain aobout the size of the buttons but I've gotten used to them. The only compaint I have is that I can't search the calendar (am I missing something?). I download to Outlook and search from…

value conscious, a busy person, simple is good, a mobile phone user, technically savvy, a pet owner, reliant on my phone, Every day computer user
I love my blackberry. It has the full keyboard and I could not live without it. I run a business and it so important to me to get back to my customers ASAP and I can do this with my blackberry. I get my emails faster on it than I do my pc. I do wish it was not so bulky but I assume for the purpose of what it does the size cannot change. It is very easy to use and I have not had any issues with it.…

practical, a busy person, Every day computer user, expecting good, fair service, impressed with this product, value conscious, willing to pay for quality
This is a great little phone. It's very easy to use and fits well in your hand. I looked at other PDA type phones, and this one was the best available. It is sleek, light weight, and practical. I use it primarily for work. The phone makes it a little too easy to check email. It gets addictive and very distracting. …

a busy person, a cell phone lover!, expecting good, fair service, gadget geek, a mobile phone user, into music, into trying new things, Open-minded
Incredible phone. I just got it because I got a new job that I have to drive to client's homes late day, so when it's dark I get lost. The GPS is a life saver. I also love music, so the mp3 player and ability to use it for wifi is awesome. I am on the phone a lot so this helps. Oh the camera is very nice as…
