The Asus N53SV-B1 is a good laptop for every day use. Asus provides high quality components and a decent price. This laptop can handle most tasks put before it with ease. It's not designed to handle high end games, but can play most games at more modest settings without too much difficulty. The screen is a nice size so easy to do normal work on it and the placement of ports makes hooking up peripherals easy. The keyboard has a good feel to it and the touch pad works, although with the same problems that all touch pads have. Overall, it is a good laptop, that will last long enough for the specs to become obsolute. Ease of Use The laptop comes with WIndows and is easy to navigate from the start without a lot of bloatware getting in the way of using it. Battery Life Batery life is decent. A few hours of active usage and the sleep mode keeps it powered for days. Support & Service Asus has excellant service and support.
