Bottom-Line: I would highly recommend the APC Mobile Power Pac.
APC designed the Mobile Power Pack to generate up to 55 hours of power for devices like the iPod Nano, and 8 to 10 hours of additional e-mail and talk time for smart phones and or PDA's like the Palm 700w, and BlackBerry Curve. APC further designed the APC Mobile Power Pac with an AC-to-USB power adapter and a USB-to-Mini B power cable all in a light weight package. The white LED status bar lets you know how much charge you have left with the press of a button, and it blinks when charging. The Mobile Power Pack is fitted with a state-of-the-art lithium-polymer battery a technology delivers copious amounts of power and fast recharge times.
My Viewpoint
The APC Mobile Power Pac is a keeper and has earned a home in backpack. Though I have relieved myself of a Palm, I still have a BlackBerry 8830 World-Phone and TomTom XL GPS I use the unit with. The Mobile Power Pac lives up to the hype; I have yet to delete the unit when connecting it to my GPS after it limited power begins to give out.
The Mobile Power Pac is lightweight, attractive and extremely utilitarian; I highly recommend the handy little device for anyone over burdened with portable devices like I am. Better still, the unit re-charges quickly; e.g. the initial charge too less than four hours, and recharges usually take less than an hour.
