When I and my British husband moved back to the US from Britain, all the insurance companies wanted to treat us as though we had been driving uninsured all the time we were there, and quoting us ludicrous rates (like $2000+ per person, both of us having a perfectly clean record, to share one used Toyota Camry). Not only did Amica offer us a reasonable rate (under $800 for the both of us), they even allowed my husband on the insurance with his British driver's license until he could get one from the state in which we were living (which he did as soon as possible, of course). Without Amica, we couldn't have afforded to own or drive a vehicle!

This is great information. We are looking seriously at Amica as our new Insurance carrier and I am suspicious of companies I have never heard of. Thanks.
