AMA Pro Roadracing at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wi Review

The race is in Elkhart Lake,WI, a small town on Elkhart Lake. The temperature is usually temperate, perfect viewing weather, in the 70's. Nights might require a jacket with the temperature being in the 50's and 60's. It is a cool, small, race town.

The race is the first weekend of June or close to it and is always great racing. Nine world champions have won super bike races here. This year, 2007, it is the weekend of June 1. Besides all the AMA races, this a superbike double header weekend. The highest speed on track this weekend has been 187 miles per hour from a factory Suzuki.

Great food in Elkhart Lake. One place not to miss is the bar, Siebkens, at Siebkens Resort, 284 Lake Street.Many of the racers will be staying here. All the racers end up visiting the bar and you can meet and greet racers there. Everyone loves to party at Siebkens. It such a cool place, seeing the fans show up on their bikes, talking with them, and meeting the racers.

The AMA National Road Race at Elkhart Lake Wisconsin, track name Road America, is a race not to miss.
