We've been with ADP TotalSource for about 6 months. Our benefits experience was so bad, we were back into a corner when we receive a 48% health insurance increase. First of all there is a disconnect between what your told and what you actually get. Their pricing is HIGH, and contracts are very difficult to understand, you really don't know how to determine what you're paying for. We were told things during the sales presentation that were later found out to be untrue, even during the intial implemetation phase. It was among the poorest implementations I've been through. Numerous errors, tons of follow-up on our end, to the point my HR team was questioning 'why do we need them, there creating more work for us'. Our joke around the office that ADP TotalSource was actually ADP NoSource. As HR Director, I spend 80% of my time complaining to the higher-up about service issues and trying to convince my HR team that this was a good decesion, even though in my gut I felt I had made a mistake. I kept and actual daily log, documenting my complaints, and the errors that were made. I escalated my compliants to the highest level to receive a response and the attention we deserved for the prices we were paying. ADP is EXPENSIVE. Do your research first. Once they have your ACH information, it's a home run for them.
I must say however, that since we've been onboard, and have been assigned dedicated reps. problems have been minimum. Their response is not as fast as I would like it to be, but nevertheless, I've found that they do resolve issues. We haven't had any late payrolls, or poor service since the implementation. Frankly, I think their folks are just overloaded and can't keep up with demand. If you're considering ADP TotalSource, do your research and obtain other bids for your business to get a competitive rate. They made good on service to us by deducting 18,000 on our bill because the sales rep. failed to mention an important detail about quarterly taxes. I thought that was great..considering the poor service we had and the missinformation given in beginning. I'm on the fence about recommending ADP. Their sales people are great SALES PEOPLE, however the delivery of services did make a good initial impression on our management team. I'll give it year, as see how it goes from here.
