When trying to determine what type of mouthwash that we wanted to go with, our priorities were a combination of something that would taste good, and which would accomplish the goals of any good mouthwash: to freshen breath. What we ended up purchasing was a bottle of the ACT Restoring Mouthwash, in the Cool Splash Mint flavor. It advertised right on the front that it would help to kill bad breath germs and freshen our breath with a "clean burst of icy spearmint." The bottle itself held 18 ounces of the mouthwash, with a drinking cup serving as the cap, and it contained a bright blue liquid...
read full review »I really really love my ACT Restoring cool mint mouthwash!! It has such a refreshing flavor and smell and leaves your mouth feeling cool and very clean feeling. I take it with me everywhere I go and use it faithfully. It doesnt burn or sting my gums or tongue unless I rinse to long...which I have a habit of, since it feels so good in my mouth. I havent tried any other flavors other than the cool mint, but I bet they taste just as good. I was not always such a good rinser or brusher and had many cavities...but then my dentist told me about crest toothpaste and ACT Restoring mouthwash. ...
read full review »This is one of the more beneficial dental health products that doesn't just get rid of bad breath. It protects your teeth too. ACT Restoring Anti Cavity mouth rinse actually restores the minerals to your teeth and receding gums.
I like how it also leaves the mouth with a cool light mint flavor that is not over powering or medicine like, which is the case with some other well known mouth washes on the market. A couple of us in our household have used ACT Restoring Anti Cavity mouth rinse over the past year, and we can honestly say we are pleased with it.
It is supposed to be good for people...
read full review »ACT Restoring Mouthwash -- Cool Spash Mint is a little on the strong side, and it gives you a burning sensation similar to that of the Listerine brand. However, it has a great taste and leaves your mouth feeling really fresh and clean. I used this for a while, but then I read an article about mouthwash that contains alcohol increases your chances of oral cancer, so I quit using it. A week or two after I quit using it, while shopping at my local store, I discovered that they also make an alcohol-free version, so I had to try it. Turns out, I like the alcohol-free version even better. You...
read full review »This is my favorite mouthwash. I really only use Act since that's the one that my dentist has reccommended. And this is much milder and not alcohol-y like Listerine or even the Colgate kind. Also i've tried store brands but there is no store brand for Act (that I've seen anyway), so that's why I need to buy the name brand.
This mouthwash does everything, but the main reason I bought it was because it restores enamel, which is something I am always concerned about. I drink enough tea and soda that i need to take some preventative care. I havent' really noticed if my teeth are stronger or anything,...
read full review »The ACT restoring mouth wash is a hit at my house. The dentist recomended it to me when I had my first filling, ever. She said to use it every night. I can't begin to tell you how clean my teeth feel when I'm getting ready to go to bed, and how it really has helped prevent any other cavities from forming. I also have tried a few other ACT products, and I must say, bravo.
This product makes my mouth not only smell fresh, but feel fresh, and for lasting hours. I was recomended for it by a friend after my old mouthwash, well just frankly wasnt working. At all. it seemed to actually be hurtin my teeth. Jut then thiss came and saved them just in time lol
