When my two children started to get cavities, one thing my dentist suggested was an anti-cavity mouth wash. I chose Act because the "kids" one was a fun color and I hoped my kids would be willing to try it. They both really liked the taste, so much so that I had to remind them to only use it after brushing their teeth. Interestingly enough, they were brushing more often so they could use it. I was impressed with the lid/top of the container. With one simple squeeze, it would fill to the perfect dosage. It couldn't overfill or overflow because of the clever design. I liked knowing that my kids were getting the correct amount to use. My children's dentist checkups were improved, I think because not only were they brushing more, but that the wash was getting to their back teeth and in between teeth. Now if I could just get them to floss! I decided to try the two adult flavors as well. I really like the green one and use it daily too.

I don't think that I can truthfully say that I really like the taste of any mouthwash, however I did find this one to be at least tolerable. It still has that unpleasant taste but it did not have that burning sensation or the strong taste. Now at least I can rinse and gargle without gagging and it does freshen my breath and I feel it leaves my mouth with that clean feeling for a longer period of time. I accidentally discovered this brand while looking for another one. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. This one doesn't burn like the old brand did. When I did a cost comparison to the old brand it was about the same and I actually like this mouthwash. I have only tried the one flavor however it is available in three different types and will give each of them a try. I am on my second bottle now ad while I still can't say that I love this mouthwash, I do find it is tolerable and it seems to leave my mouth fresher for a longer period of time .

I am always on the hunt for good dental products that make oral hygiene routines seem more fun and exciting for my very young children. If I can encourage them to keep up their daily dental care on their own without constant prodding from me, then it really saves me on future dental bills. I was searching for a fun looking mouthwash for them when they reached the age where it would be safe to use one. I was worried about them swallowing it and did not want them using my adult mouthwash. I wanted it to taste good and look fun, but did not want to compromise the necessary ingredients needed to keep cavities and plaque at bay. I purchased this act anti cavity mouthwash in the bright pink bubble gum flavor right when I saw it. The flavor and packaging looked both fun and tasty. They loved it the first time they tried it. I gave it a taste test myself and must admit it's not too shabby! I no longer need to convince them to gargle and rinse long enough because they enjoy it so much. The best part for me is it is keeping their teeth healthy and strong.

When I had braces, I would use ACT Anticacity Flouride Mouthwish, at the recommendation of my Orthodontist. I especially liked how you squeeze the bottle, and the correct amount of mouthwash will fill in the top portion of the bottle. I think this is great for kids too since they are able to pre-measure the amount of mouthwash they should be using. This mouthwash always left my mouth feeling clean and fresh after I used it. I also like that it contained fluoride. Since I have soft teeth, I always try to get fluoride in my mouthwash and toothpaste to make my teeth stronger. You can buy this at almost any large grocery store or pharmacy, and the prices is very affordable. I don't typically see coupons for this product, but you can sometimes get a better price if you purchase it from your Orthodontist. This product worked really well for me. When I got my braces removed, there were no discoloration marks that are so often prevalent after having braces.

ACT Anticavity Fluoride Rinse is a staple in our house for everyone. I have used this forever and miss the cinnamon flavor. Now I am using the Mint flavor. My son has been using the Bubblegum Blowout since the age of 2, now 11. This is great for those of us who have weak teeth and no matter what we do, we get cavities. This fluoride rinse surely helps to keep those cavities in check. My son has yet to have a cavity and uses this every other night along with one needed for his orthodontic work to prevent white spots on the teeth. But he loves this so much, he is not willing to give it up and use the specified one by his orthodontist. And I don't blame him, because it works. It is also great in helping to strengthen the enamel of your teeth. ACT fluoride rinse also keeps our breath fresh and clean. I really wish I could find the cinnamon, maybe they stopped making it? The best part of this is that unlike most mouthwashes, this contains no alcohol.

As a person who is prone to cavities due to my love for sweets and candies, I try to prevent cavities the best I can through good dental hygiene since I refuse to give up my love for sweets. I asked my dentist what I could do to help and she recommended a fluoride rinse in addition to regular good dental hygiene. She specifically told me to try the ACT anti-cavity fluoride rinse in addition to regular mouthwash. I really LOVE the Act anti-cavity fluoride rinse- from the packaging to the aftertaste! I only tried and stuck with the green mint flavor because I was completely satisfied with it. The cool packaging design is this bottle that just automatically portions out a cupful so you don't have to pour out the rinse like you typically have to do with other rinses. I found it to be very unique and also very convenient! I highly recommend this rinse as a supplement to your daily dental hygiene regime.

This is a product I started using when I was a child and continue to use today. I have even passed this part of my dental routine to my children as well. My children and I have never had a single cavity, ever, and I think this is due in large part to this product. I distinctly remember a point in my childhood when I hated brushing my teeth because I did not like the mint flavor. Act mouthwash offered flavors other than the standard mint and I was instantly hooked! Act mouthwash helped not only prevent me from getting cavities, but to learn to enjoy oral health care again as a child. I remember that I always looked forward to the flavor. Now my own children can benefit from my experience and have been using this product for as long as they have been old enough to do so. They all love it as much as I did as a child. It's so great when you can find a solution to a parenting challenge that works and is healthy.

Most children do not like brushing their teeth, flossing, using mouthwash, etc. When I was a child I was no different. This Act Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash was my absolute favorite dental activity as a child though. Today I am more picky with my mouth wash flavors but back as a child I seriously loved this product. The best part about ACT is it's unique bottle that is so convenient. This bottle really makes it so easy to get the perfect amount of mouthwash without having to have an extra cup. You also do not have to worry about backwashing mouthwash into the bottle if you like to sip straight from it. Overall this product does a good job at keeping your mouth clean and refreshed. It really reminds me of my childhood and I love using it when I can because it brings me down memory lane. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy and convent way to clean their mouth and will buy it in the future.

ACT Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash is a great product. I had what seemed to be never-ending dental problems for years: fillings, root canals, implants, surgeries. It seemed to come to an end in finding my current dentist and getting a recommendation to use ACT. To compare the ingredients in ACT Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash to the ingredients in other brands of mouthwash is to discover the basic differences between them. ACT contains a host of inactive ingredients that are absent or in higher concentrations than other products, to include the active ingredient, sodium fluoride as well. In addition to ACT Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash there are several other brands of ACT including "Total Care," that is the end-all of effective mouthwash products at a slightly higher price. ACT can be purchased with or without alcohol as an ingredient. I always select the alcohol-free. Just to read the ingredients and then compare is to notice a world of difference. The only drawback is that ACT may have a slight discoloring effect. This is easily solved by mixing it in half with hydrogen peroxide, a common ingredient of other brands not found in ACT. This is just a fantastic mouthwash that really works!

There are many great mouthwashes out there, but I always keep coming back to this one. I've bought this exact mouthwash for about 3 years now. My favorite thing about this mouthwash is it's convenience. I don't have to open the cap and pour in the mouthwash myself into there. Instead there is an awesome squeeze-to-fill thing built right at the top. So if I need mouthwash, all I need to do is get out the bottle, take off the lid, squeeze it gently, and then use the bottle as my cup. It's amazing. The mouthwash itself is very gentle and doesn't sting as much as my old Listerine one. Maybe this is because there isn't as much/ has no alcohol? I'm not sure, but I know I'll keep using this mouthwash for years to come! Or at least until other mouthwashes are made with a squeeze bottle!
