why won't episode viewer for abc and nbc work in NYC?

I love the ABC episode viewers and got hooked when I was living in Arizona but now that I've moved to Manhattan it's not working.

I can log onto the sites but when I go to load the shows ( which have always worked before outside of Manhattan) ABC's site says the episodes "unavailable" check back later...but when I had friends check in other parts of the country they can log on at the same time with no problems. I've tried for weeks and get the same message.

Can anyone explain why?

I am sick of the downhill spiral of ABC.com and trying to watch full episodes! It gets more and more difficult the past year to year and a half for the average computer/internet user to just try and catch up on a show! Everytime I try... something has changed and it gets more complicate. I'm through with the network and especially the site. Couple shows I really like, but on to NBC and CBS. You all suck!
