The new TV season has started, but I am busy at the computer and don't have a recorder. The solution is to watch the shows on the Internet whenever I want. Many channels offer this, but the full episode player at abc.com is the one I watch the most. It is easy to get. If you have to add anything, they tell you in plain English, not computer speak, and the process is quick and painless. The shows have good photos and descriptions. There are short commercial breaks, but they're not as long as television breaks, and I use the time to look around the room and give my eyeballs a break.
The picture is good, but the sound quality could be better. I'm hearing-impaired, and even though I wear earphones and jack up the volume to its highest level, the sound is not quite high enough. Closed captioning would be nice in case anybody in charge of Internet programming is reading. There is so much accessible to the hearing-impaired, television captions and DVD captions. Why not on the Internet too?
