The AAMCO dealer in Olathe, KS repaired my transmission while on vacation. Unfortunately, the car was dirty (lots of grease spots) when it was delivered. We drove one block before having to return immediately due to flashing warning lights and locked brakes; apparently the car had not been properly test driven before delivery. The car drove fine on the return trip home (500 miles)but then developed a loud "clunking" noise when shifting into drive. This was eventually fixed by a local AAMCO dealer who told me the Olathe repair site failed to install a bolt. Finally, do as the signs read at these dealers: Do Not Leave Valuables in Your Car....my watch which I left in the ash tray was stolen. Bottom line: AAMCO eventually fixed the transmission to my satisfaction, but it was a bit of a hassle.
