AAA Review

I became a AAA member three years ago.  I was a member many years ago when my company included the membership in their benefits.  I thought it was a good idea to have in case of an emergency.  My feelings on it are that maybe it is not necessary to have.  Out of all the years I have had the membership I have yet to use it so its been a throwaway of a few hundred dollars in retrospect.  It probably would have cost the same to have my car towed had I had the need and I probably could have saved myself some money because I have't used it at all.  I even upgraded it thinking I could use the extra help but since I am currently only driving locally due to circumstances I feel it has been a waste of money.  Not to knock their other available services and benefits such as travel discounts, etc.  but I really haven't used them either.  I doubt I will renew my membership this year.  I feel it has been a waste.
