AAA has great rates, especially if you do multiple policies like home owners insurance and car insurance.  You get a discount if you go through a credit union as well.  The only problem I had was when my husband's car was totalled.  AAA took over a year to pay us the value of that car.  At first they wanted to pay us about half of what the car was worth.  So when we disagreed they dragged it out for a year and eventually paid us a fair amount.
