I called AAA when my car emitted white smoke from the exhaust. I was on a turnpike and very nervous about being hit. AAA called 911 while they secured one of their technicians to help me. The two parties were there in less than 15 minutes.
When I locked my keys in car or had a flat tire, they arrived in less than half an hour no matter what city I called from.
