I found this book to be one of the best reads I've had in a long time. I was fully engaged and could visualize the surroundings and feel the tension and passion of the characters. I also gained a new perspective of how lives are affected by war. This book stuck with me long after I put it down. I highly recommend it. I am know reading the "Kite Runner" written by the same author.
