Not only tested by the readers, but have also been submitted by the readers. This magazine is filled with great recipes, stories and if you find the hidden toothpick you can get in one of their great drawings for neat prizes.

I love this magazine because I can always find something good and easy to make...

I have been gertting Taste of Home for over twelve years. The last few issues have been rather disapointing.

They are publishing a much smaller magazine with less recipes and tips and are adding a few advertisements in the magazines.

I know there are only so many recipes but like most everything else the...

Good Food Recipe Cards Kid Love by Taste of Home

What is it?
The Good Food Recipe Cards Kids Love by Taste of Home is a softcover book full of recipe cards that you just need to clip out.  It is available at your local grocer and also in book stores.  I checked the Taste of Home website and they didn't have it listed there.
This recipe card book is full of great new ways to get your kids to eat fruits and veggies.  There are some awesome after-school treats and 76 easy lunches, snacks and suppers!

Each recipe cards is of sturdy cardstock with a glossy finish.  Each recipe has a picture of the...

I recently received a free magazine subscription to Taste of Home Magazine through shespeaks.com and I have to admit I read it cover to cover when I received it.

The magazine has pictures of every recipe and easy to follow ingredients. Even the simplest recipe had me feeling like a culinary genius after serving it to my family and friends and hearing endless raves about my mad skills in the kitchen.

One of the greatest things about Taste of Home is that th recipes for the magazine are provided by an unpaid staff of "field editors". Translated this is 1,000 home cooks from all 50 states and Canada...

I've subscribed to this magazine several times.  If nothing else, it's just a lot of fun to look through and get ideas.  My favorite part of this magazine is the recipe section in the middle.  The featured recipes for each month come four to a page, and each recipe is ready to cut out and place in your cookbook or recipe box.

The recipes are usually very simple, and require ingredients most people already have at home.  There's nothing fancy or difficult, mainly just down home cooking.  I've tried many recipes from Taste Of Home and most of them are pretty good.  Some of them though.....I...

I haven't bought a cookbook since subscribing to this magazine. It has the best recipes and have received lots of positive comments about all the recipes I've tried from the magazine. I love to cook and this is perfect.

This month I have tried lots of new recipes and I can hardly wait for my next magazine.  If you love to cook and gather friends and family around your kitchen table as I do ; you might want to check out the  new magazine 'Taste of Home'.

What's so unique about Taste of Home is the strong community of cooks who share their recipes and offer glimpses into their own kitchens. Reader recipes are also featured in the magazine . I especially like that you can find messages and 'alive' recipes with chatter inspired by a delicious meal or  discovering  new tips and tools for my kitchen.

This is the first cooking magazine I have ever subscribed to. Mainly because my youngest daughter was interested in Culinary Arts and she did most of the cooking for the last few years. When she left the nest, I had to strike out on my own in the cooking world again. I had read A Taste of Home from a friend, and was inspired by the photos and the ease of the recipes. These are the tried and true recipes from people like your mom or grandma. There are also recipe and centerpiece ideas that look very complicated, but the directions and step by step assistance to create them are simple!

I choose a...

I love to try new recipes! On average I try a new recipe at least twice each week. I love to cook and have people tell me what they think of the things I make. This is the best magazine I've ever read for getting delicious and enticing recipes! A subscription to this magazine would be a great gift for people out there who love to cook! What makes this magazine great as well is they make and review the foods before they put them in an issue so you know they must be good if they are listed in there. Some recipes in other magazines the second time around making them you have to change ingredients... review »

A Taste of Home is a very delicious magazine. Looking through it makes me hungry. Reading through the recipes makes me hungry. It isn't just about the looks though. Unlike other recipe magazines this magazine provides affordable recipes that are healthy, fresh and easy to make. Directions are easy to follow and often short.

The magazine is also filled with various sorts of recipes too. I have come across vegan recipes, grow your own food recipes, unique salads, pasta dishes, from a can recipes, dessert recipes, etc. Frankly I never grow bored of looking through the magazine and I look forward...

I like the no frills lack of advertising...This magazine has recipes by the average person from all corners of places to call home. The most easily attainable ingredients can be found for the most amazing recipes. So many recipe magazines try to maintain the exotic foods that many can not come across. Taste of Home does have the side venture for Taste at Home Healthy Cooking and does offer an alternative magazine for dieters to maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as maintain weight. the original maintains its dedication to food epicureans everywhere..The original does not mix to much between the... review »

What a great way to either learn or just spice up the "Im tired of cooking the same stuff all of the time."I have given this magazine to both of my daughters and have been a faithfull subscriber myself for years. It gives you fresh ideas every other month. I would love to sit and read the magazine from cover to cover rabbit earing the pages with the recipes that I would be interested in trying. Yes I agree that there are some repeats but they are few and far between and that helps people who were not getting the magazine when it was first run. I will continue to subscribe to this magazine as well... review »

A Taste of Home is a very down to earth magazine with recipes that seem to bring all the comfort foods out and then some. Very easy reads and very easy to make. That's not to say you won't find some more sophisticated recipes, especially for special occasions, as well as recipes that are specialties of some kind or another. In this you will find kid pleasing, family tested recipes. You'll also find local events listed if you happen to want to participate in person. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that it is not published enough times a year!

Taste of Home is my all time favorite food magazine.  I have been a subscriber now for several years and still look forward to each new issue!  What I like most about this magazine is that the recipes are all REAL tried and true recipes.  Also, the recipes use common ingredients that you are likely to have in your kitchen right now.  Every issue is filled with recipes to fit every cook, from the most beginner to some one like me - who has been cooking for over 30 years!

This magazine is great for easy recipes.  There is something for everyone in this magazine.  Nice variety of recipes as well as a picture for each one.  This is helpful when trying to deterimine the presentation of the items.  Also makes it easier to find recipes that are appealing.  I would highly recommend this magazine.  The only down side is that I noticed after years of subscribing that there is an occational recipe repeated in the magazines.
