    Cast, some of it is very funny, warm, affectionate, touching, Lily and Meryl

Cons
    Quite a bit of country music, The Story, It's Altman's last film.

A Prairie Home Companion  — 

The cast of this movie is great. With the legandary Meryl Streep and the hilarious Lily Tomlin you would think that this would be a great movie. However, it is quite the contrary. This movie is boring and the radio show is very boring and almost puts you to sleep. The underlying plot of the the troubles between and mother and her daugther is one of the best parts of this film, but it is not really brought into the forefront. The singing is good but the songs are not. This is not the best move and I don't really reccomend it.
