I have always hated the under belly panels in maternity jeans. With my first pregnancy I tried to avoid them and buy all the jeans with no panels. I never found anything I loved though. Fast forward to my second pregnancy and shopping for that perfect pair of maternity jeans again. A well-meaning sales associate at Destination Maternity put a pair of (then they were known as) Mimi's Secret Fit Belly Jeans in my dressing room. I took one look at the price tag and balked for a minute at even trying them on. I was hoping to spend $30 on a pair of jeans and these were three times that. However, the minute I put them on, I was in love. They fit from fifteen weeks all the way up until delivery and were the most comfortable item of clothing I owned during that time. One of my favorite things is that there is no annoying belly panel digging into your skin under your belly and no funky shaped belly from the material cutting into it. And best of all, THEY STAY PUT. I wasn't constantly tugging up my pants like I did with all the other maternity jeans. Hands down, it was the best $90 I spent. Shortly after I purchased my pants they came out with the cheaper Motherhood version. I purchased a pair of capris in their version and while they are okay, they are not as good as my more expensive ones.
