My mom used this stuff on me. And I didn't really remember it. Till I opened up the bottle and smelled it. I remembered the smell very well. That's the only thing I hate about this product. Is the smell. But I like it because I don't just use it on my baby's diaper rash. When Daddy gets a cut I use it on that. A + D worked great when my son had a diaper rash. It caused him the least amount of discomfort, and the rash went away quickly.
