You might not know just how funny these guys are (and British)!

fun loving, a movie buff, into Independent Films, a comedy fan

I first got the full DVD set of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" from the local library, but then I had to buy it so I could watch it over and over and share it with my sister, who also loves British comedy. I don't think enough people know about this impeccable and outrageous comedy duo. This is great sketch comedy in the tradition of Monty Python, and even old school SNL. It runs the gamut from musical oddities to Fry and Laurie on the street dressed as women being interviewed for the local news. A Bit of Fry and Laurie is a show written by and starring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. It's one of my personal favorite TV shows because the sketches are very funny in a witty sort of way. There is a great deal of wordplay and innuendo employed in the sketches, and the show overall is a bit quirky. There are several recurring characters as well as amusing musical performances by Hugh Laurie. Some of the sketches include political commentary that is usually hilarious.
