This story is so much fun! Each page has something unexpected and silly. It is about a little girl who is afraid to admit that she likes Lima beans. she is so busy trying to impress her new classmates that she comes down with a case of the stripes. All of the gurus and doctors and homeopathic know hows visit her to try and treat her condition and in the end she really just need to be herself. This is a great story to get a child thinking about how to be themselves and to be proud of it.… read full review »

Although she doesnt know it, Camilla's stripes are caused by her avoidance of lima beans... her favorite food. What? The little girl is avoiding her favorite food? — Yes. Camilla doesnt want to eat lima beans because she is worried about what other kids think of her-- even though lima beans are her favorite. Because she avoids lima beans, all kinds of crazy things happen to her-- she gets stripes, she… read full review »
