My cat Mandy is the most prissy and finicky cat that I have ever owned. She absolutely will not eat any other canned cat food but 9Lives. She used to eat most all of the 9Lives flavors until recently. (Great, she is getting even more ornery with age.) Now we are down to 9Lives Tuna Select Canned Food... read full review »

My cat just had 4 babies so we gave her the canned cat food to increase her protien levels so she can feed all 4. I can't believe how horrible it smells at the other end of the digestive track. I threw the cat box outside and put her back on hard food. I like the nutritional value of the product but... read full review »

have 2 cats with not so unusual likes and dislikes. Except when it comes to food.

My husband's cat, named Lucky, (named so because he was lucky to have a home) started to have a problem in the potty area. I would find him trying to go in the sink, on the table or in the shower and even in the corner. This was strange behavior for him.

I took him to the vet and was told he had urinary problems and would have them for the rest of his life. I also had to feed him this bland, very expensive cat food that I could only buy from the vet. Well I tried it, taking a few cans home with me that night.

Well...

Once upon a time we fed our cats food from the grocery store. Now that I know better, I would not buy my cat grocery store cat food. In the bad old days, we alternated between Friskies and 9 Lives. Friskies, my cats would eat and could tolerate. 9 Lives invariably made one cat nauseous. When I asked my vet (and best friend, so I trust her advice), she said this was junk, and was apt to upset more sensitive stomachs. She recommended moving to a non-grocery store brand. While it was difficult at the time to absorb the cost difference (we are not by any means wealthy), we changed to carefully produced...

9 LIVES TUNA SELECT CANNED FOOD FOR CATS IS THE CAT FOOD THAT MY CAT LOVES TO EAT .THIS PRODUCT IS A GOOD ECONOMICAL SOURCE OF FOOD FOR CATS , IN THAT THE PRICE IS RIGHT , AND THE OTHER FLAVORS THAT 9 LIVES MAKES .  MY CAT LOVES THIS SO MUCH THAT IF YOU DON'T WATCH HOW MUCH SHE EATS SHE WILL EAT THE WHOLE THING IN SECONDS.

I LIKE THE FACT THAT THE MAKERS PUT THE FOOD IN AN EASY TO OPEN CAN . YOU CAN BUY IT TWO STYLES EITHER USE A CAN OPENER OR YOU CAN BUY IT IN  POP TOP STYLE . THIS PRODUCT IS VERY EASY TO STORE IN THAT IT DOES NOT TAKE UP TO MUCH ROOM AND IT ALSO STACKS FOR...

I have 5 indoor cats and indoor dog who believes he is a cat most of the time.  I usually feed dry food and occasionally  feed them canned food as  a special treat.  With 5 cats, we go through alot of cat food.  The cats REALLY love this canned cat food.  They go crazy when they see me get a can out of the cabinet.  They all gather ariund the plate and eat and eat.  The dog stand ther licking his lips and hoping they leave him a little scrap.  The problem I have with this food is that it smells terrible!  The whole house stinks for hours after feeding the cats.  And then there is the... read full review »

I have 5 cats and rescue and foster all the time.  My cats will only eat the tuna flavor of 9 lives, they prefer to eat Friskies.  They will munch the tuna 9 lives very quickly and want more, but the other flavors they really don't like.  I don't have to worry about the cat box because all mine go outside in a sand box that we built for them.  I just put new sand when needed and don't have to clean it.

This is a picture of my cat "Buster" he weights 22 punds.

If my cat had her way all she would eat is the different variations of 9 Lives tuna.  Ever since I bought a few cans of this, she's refused to eat other brands of wet food (thankfully she's not as picky with her dry food).  She's learned to recognize the look of the can and comes running when she sees it in my hand.  Since it's not a pull top, she has to wait while I use the can opener.  During that time she meows.  That may not sound strange to most people, but my cat never meows.

My cats love 9Lives Tuna. They would eat it every day if we would let them. They know when they are going to get the Tuna, because I have to get the can open out, and they (3 of the 5) start jumping up on the counter to get to the bowls first.

We were disappointed when our grocery store stopped carrying tuna, but we have found it recently at a large pet store at a reasonable price so we are now stocking up for the kitties when we are near the store!

My cats love tuna. I cannot open a can of real tuna without grabbing the their attention. The 9 Lives tuna flavor is as close to the read deal as it comes. My cats love the taste and always beg for more. It's 95 percent real tuna and it's a lot less expensive to feed the cats 9 Lives tuna than to give them real tuna as a treat. I only wish the can came with a pop top.

We have come to rely on this pet food.  All of our cat companions love it and we use it when we have to give medicine or if we have taken in a new kitten that has trouble eating total solid food.  We rescue kittens that are born "in the wild", get them litter trained, eating solid and used to being handled by humans.  We then adopt them out.

Be sure to look for the words Tuna Select on the front of the can. This food smells more like tuna and comes out flaky. My cats love the Tuna and Egg Bits flavor. I like the size of the can as I can split it up between the cats and not have any left to store. I can get 4 cans for about a dollar, it doesn't get any cheaper than that.

9 Lives Tuna Cat Food will satisfy even the most finicky cats. I have owned cats all of my life and when I get one that won't eat just anything, I am confident that I can buy 9 Lives Tuna and know that they will love it. Try it with your cats and you will see what I mean.
