I used to like this video a lot!

I remember using this video years ago. I worked out to it many times. I would try to do it as much as possible and it really wasn't too bad. The 8 minute abs program was a good one. It really did work all different parts of your core muscles and it was pretty easy to do because you would switch from one exercise to another. I liked that the timer on the screen would count down. That way you would know that you had just a little bit longer to hold in there. I know that they also had the other 8 minute workout videos and I would say that out of all of them this one was my favorite. I haven't used this program in so long because I switched to DVD's and don't use video tapes anymore. I would use this program again though. It did really work your abs. For me, there are other programs out there that I like better, but this one would be good to switch into a workout from time to time. The other nice thing is that it is only 8 minutes. If you don't have much time in your day and you just need to fit something in quickly then this would be a great one to have.

This is difficult and worth it!

I am always looking for new workouts to do that target specific areas. I found 8 minute abs when I was looking around on you tube one afternoon. I always look a good workout in a short period of time so I thought I would give it a try. Let me tell you what, it works. It goes for 8 minutes with some rest intervals in between. It does different workouts the entire 8 minutes that target lower abs, upper abs, and obliques. It is really challenging and your abs will be burning by the end of the 8 minutes. I had a difficult time finishing all the workouts because of how bad my abs were burning. That means it is working though. I think this is a great workout and I believe they have made more than one. The only down side is that it does get repetitive after a while. You may want to mix it up with other workouts. However, it is effective and something I would recommend trying to tone up your abs!

8 minute neck

I have had this workout on both VHS as well as on DVD. The exercises are more for beginners than for the experienced exerciser. In this workout we are greeted with elevator music in a beautiful scenic park. The instructor comes on and announces there will be 9 moves for 45 seconds each. There is also a count down timer on the side of the screen. During the routine the instructor talks constantly which I do not appreciate. He keeps making reference that each exercise is safe, effective, and fun. There is nothing fun about this workout. The form is poor, and by the end of the routine, my neck is in a lot of pain. There are no modifications on any of these exercises. There is also no warm up or cool down. In conclusion, I feel there are much better abdominal workouts available. This one in particular would be good for a true beginner. But personally I just cannot get past the wardrobe and music selections.

The best Ab workout ever

I first bought this video tape 17 years ago and have used it ever since! About a year ago, my VCR ate the tape. I knew that I needed another. I discovered that the workout has been modified and an arm segment added to it. I was not interested in that and I was just looking for the original 8 Minute Ab routine. I was able to find it for a decent price on Amazon. I continue to use the tape several times weekly. Over the years, I have tried numerous workout routines and programs. The Ab. routine used in the 8 Minute Ab video remains my favorite. All the exercises target areas that I am conscious about and after all of these years, I can still feel the results after a workout. I have recommended this video to many friends and family members over the years. I especially like the fact that the workout can be performed in under ten minutes. This makes it easy to do on those busy days when exercise wouldn't normally fit into the schedule.

8 Minute Abs is a quick and easy workout that works every part of the stomach.  Doing the 8 Minute Abs regularly helped take inches off my waistline from the front and sides.  8 Minute Abs is somewhat corny when you watch it because it was originally shot in the early 90s and they wear spandex, but if you actually follow the movements and number of reps during the workout, you will see results in a short period of time.  Everyone has 8 minutes a day that they can utilize to assist them in their weight loss goals.  The moves during this video or DVD are done in a specific way to enhance the effectiveness of the workout.  If you continue the workouts for at least a month, your abs will be tighter, leaner and more shapely.  Even people who are in peak shape will see the results.  I would recommend 8 Minute Abs to anyone who wants to aid their weight loss goals and tighten every inch of their abdominal wall.  Continual use will enhance anyone's stomach muscles.  Quick, easy and beneficial for anyone with 8 minutes.

8 Minute abs really gets you moving and in shape!

8 Minute ab/buns/legs/arms really gets you moving! It is a great video that allows you to work out and get in shape in a short amount of time! I can do my exercises for all different parts of my body and still have time to get out the door in the morning!

 

The routines do get monotonous after a period of time doing them but that has an upside as well, you can do the routines without watching the video, only listening. This helps you perfect the moves so you work- out to the best of your ability and improve upon it.

The video also keeps a sense of fun involved, from the outfits the instructors are wearing to the phrases they use. Make sure when you do the video, you keep on it. You have to do them practically daily to see results which is annoying and obviously hard. But it pays off when you do see the results... which I did!

 

Buy this video or check it out somewhere else! it is truly worth it!
