7 For All Mankind, 7, Sevens -- whatever you choose to call them, I am sick of seeing them around. A resourceful, thrifty, sale-driven shopper, I love finding clothes that are cute and practical, yet inexpensive. On the flip side, I also believe that (especially when it comes to pants, which are so particular in fit) if you are going to wear something non-stop, it's alright to break the bank a little. Seven For All Mankind fits into neither of these categories.

7s have become extremely overdone. People spend top dollar (not True Religion expensive, but $130-200 is still no T.J. Maxx) for the designer name, but if everybody has them are they still designer? Why not spend the same price for a pair of Citizens of Humanity or Joe's Jeans? Both respectable names that are considered higher quality, better designers, and at least vary the pocket design so you aren't staring at the same thing everyday.

I could be biased, Seven jeans don't really fit me all that well, and the pair that I do have has a loose seam and they tend to ride down in the back, yet I will admit that I think they do a great job with dying. But overall? 7 For ALL Mankind? Nah, not for me.

I haven't even seen these around here. I think we run behind the trends (-: That's OK. I like Levi, and they only cost about $25.

I think I wear my Joe's Jeans about 5 days a week. I agree... the 7 jeans hype is WAY over-rated. You may already know this but Barney's Co-Op in Lincoln Park has cheaper prices and a decent selection of Joe's Jeans if you're in the market :)

i had one pair and i found them super comfortable.... but they really stretched out. I gave them to my Mom and then picked up a pair of True Religion at that consignment place in Evanston. They totally held their shape and color. While I only spent about 1/5th of the retail price on the TR jeans, I found them to hold up much better over time than the 7 jeans. I just bought a new pair of Jeans by Hudson and they are soooo comfortable!!!!
