50 First Dates Review Summary

50 First Dates, starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler is being called "a sweet love story." This romantic comedy features a young woman who has short term memory loss, requiring her new boyfriend to have to reintroduce himself to her every day. Fans of 50 First Dates report seeing "this movie many times, and every time it gets better and better." Barrymore does a "great job," and Sandler is "entertaining in his attempts" to get Barrymore to go out with him each day. While Sandler's usual "sex jokes and juvenile type humor" is prevalent in 50 First Dates, and it has a predicable plot, "it does succed." The same results can be found in Barrymore and Sandler's other romantic comedy together, The Wedding Singer.

This movie is a Romantic Comedy.Throughout the movie it is funny and it is very romantic.I have watched this movie many times and everytime it gets better and better. Adam Sandler can always be counted on to appear in at least one theatrical release each year. His movies are mostly comedies, but for his film release in the late winter of 2004, he has been cast in a film that combines comedy with some dramatic moments as well. The movie is called 50 First Dates

50 First Dates is a story about true love that seems impossible.  Drew Barrymore is a sweet young lady who has lost her long term memory due to an auto accident.  Adam Sandler falls head over heels in love with her before he discovers this strange fact.  Drew lives every day over and over and over and Adam refuses to give up and finally finds a way to make this romance work.  Drew does a great job as a sincere young lady who lives with her brother and father who play along with her expectations of life.  Adam Sandler is entertaining in his attempts to get Drew to go out with him.
