I am a fan of these because they don't have a rough surface that scratches my dishes. I own quite a bit of cast iron pans, pots, and tea pots so I need something that wont scratch the surface while still giving a little scouring power. These do exactly what I need them to do. The sponge has a soft sponge side that I can use to clean up messes, wipe up spills, and wash dishes. The sponge also has a scrubbing side to it that powerful on the dishes I need it to be. The scrubbing side is nice for the stove top, the microwave, and around the kitchen. It works nice on the cast iron and on my T-Fal items that aren't able to be scrubbed with a scouring pad. I am a fan of these because they have a soft and hard side and are versatile. They hold suds and they don't have a smell. Performance These hold up for a long time and they have a soft and strong side to them. They work well on all types of dishes because I can use the soft side on glasses and saucers and the rough side on the cast iron that needs a little extra scrubbing power. Scent There isn't a scent to these so I can't complain about it.

I really like Scotch-Brite sponges and these non-scratch scrub sponges work really well. My favorite version of these non-scratch sponges are the wands, but these are a great second in command. I like these for a few reasons, mainly being that they last. It seems like other "sponges," particularly the store brand variety seem to deteriorate either while in use or upon being washed. When I buy a pack of these guys I know that they are going to be sticking around for quite some time. I can toss these in the wash and they will continue to wash up well for a long time. I love that even though these are "safe" on surfaces in that they will not scratch up or dull the shine of the surface, these do work effectively. They are tough enough to tackle grime and built up or cooked on food. They also can be tossed in the dish washer if you prefer that to washing them with your towels. Overall, it is one tough "sponge." There is no "scent," and if there is you should wash them immediately!

I usually use O-Cel-O sponges, but if that brand by 3M is not available, I will spend a little extra money to purchase the Scotch-Brite brand. They are a good sponge that gets the job done. I like them mostly for cleaning my stainless steel pots and pans. The non-scratch scrubbing side of the sponge works great at getting off the crusted mess that can sometimes get on pots and pans when they are not washed immediately after use. I do not think they last as long as the O-Cel-O sponges and I do not like that they cost more when they do the same exact job. I only purchase them when I have to. As Performance As far as performance goes, these sponges are very good. They scrub my dishes, pots, and pans very well, getting off anything that is stuck to the surfaces. The only issue that I have with them is that they do not last nearly as long as I think that they should. I noticed a moldy smell in my sponge the last time I purchased them within a week.

3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges are one of the most helpful inventions in the dish cleaning sector. In my younger days, we used to have to let dirty dishes soak in hot soapy water for at least half an hour to stand any hope of getting the thanksgiving dishes clean. Not any more! It's amazing how tough these scrub sponges are but also how gentle they are on surfaces that you don't want scratched. They are so effective on burnt-on stains, sticky sugary puddings and grease. It's great at getting hardened dough off my kitchen surfaces after I've been rolling pastry and it's even fantastic at cleaning my stainless steel sink after some nasty washing up experiences! I use them in the bathroom to clean my ceramic sinks, my painted doors to get dirty finger prints off and also on my dogs dinner bowls. They are so inexpensive I change them nearly every day and at just a few quarters for each sponge, I think I can live a little!

3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges are my favorite sponges to wash dishes with. They are my go-to sponge! I honestly don't feel right washing dishes with any other sponge. These sponges effectively clean dishes without scratching them. They do not fall apart and they hold up very well. They also hold a lot of soap which makes your soap go a long way, without wasting as much. I am very anal about my dishes being clean enough, and no other sponge makes me feel like my dishes are thoroughly cleaned. These are the best sponges at the best price. Don't waste your money on cheaper sponges. Cheaper sponges are thinner, fall apart easily, and don't hold soap for very long. These sponges hold up best if you rinse them completely and squeeze them dry after every use. Don't settle for cheap sponges! I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you have to hand-wash dishes, but they work well for other cleaning purposes as well.

I believe this might be the first negative review I've left for a product. However, this product simply fell apart within a two week period. I purchased these 3-M Scotch Brite Sponges multiple times and every time I was disappointed. As with most other sponges, this sponge has an abrasive surface on one end and a soft sponge-like surface on the other end. I had no problem with this sponge the first day or two using it. However, after a few days the sponge began to fall apart. I had little blue pieces of sponge all over my kitchen counter. I thought that perhaps I just got a bad one and decided to go back to the store and purchase another one. The same exact scenario happened again. I would absolutely not recommend this product as it is not a quality product.

I know that these sponges are designed to scrub your pots, pans and non-stick surfaces without scratching them, but I actually use them as a regular sponge for all my household needs. I'm not sure if they come in any different size package, but I always buy the 3-pack because I keep them in different areas of my house. Although they are "non-scratch", they feel just as rough as a regular scrub sponge; not softer like I was expecting them to be. I use **3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges** for: cleaning my dishes, scrubbing the bathtub and sinks, cleaning my babies high-chair and other things that need more scrubbing action that what my Lysol Dual Action Wipes can provide. I always keep one in my bathroom and a separate one in my kitchen sink. They don't scratch anything I've used them on, including my pots and pans, but I do tend to be more careful when scrubbing those types of items. I use **3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges** all the time and would definitely recommend them whether you need them for delicate scrubbing or not.

I really like these sponges. I have tried numerous sponges over the years looking for one that can do a great job of cleaning yet not damage the cooking surface of my pans.  I have non stick Calphalon and enamel surfaced Le Cruset so I want to keep them clean but not scratched.  Some of the features of this sponge is that it has a two-sided surface depending on what you are washing and how dirty/stuck on the food is on the pan.  Of course you can use these on other things other than pans, such as your chopping board/block and your sink when you are draining it.  I was taught how to wash dishes by my Granny who used very hot water (and sos pads back in the day) and soap and was very adamant about clean dishes.  I think that has stuck as I can't stand any little particle left behind, so this tool helps me nicely accomplish that task.   I find that even with my vigorous scrubbing and hot water cleaning, these sponges hold up well and last a long time.  I buy these as they go on sale combined with a coupon.

My friend and fellow Viewpointer, [dawna0123][1] posted a review of 3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges yesterday or the day before. (She writes so many great reviews that it's hard for me to keep up with when she wrote what!) Anyway, her terrific review reminded me of how much I also like **3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges**, and that I really don't know what I ever did without them! These sponges are basically made the same as regular Scotch-Brite Scrub Sponges, with one side that is a normal sponge and the opposite side is a scouring pad. The difference is that the **3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges **scouring pad side is not as harsh as the original Scotch-Brite Scrub Sponges--but don't let that fool you. They still get the job done and they get it done very well. I trust the scouring pad side of these sponges to clean my black cooktop without scratching it. (Just as [dawna0123][2] wrote in her review). I use a spray or other cleaner on it first, and I don't scrub it with all of my strength or anything, but when I use it like a reasonable person would, it cleans without scratching, as it claims it will. I also trust this product to clean my crystal, glassware, silverware, countertops, cabinets, appliances, faucets, non-stick cookware, and everything else without leaving scratches behind...unless I get carried away and start scrubbing as if there is no tomorrow--if I do scrub too hard without first spraying or applying a little cleaner or dish detergent first, they will leave a scratch or two on some surfaces, but that's my fault. When I am patient and gentle, and do it the way it should be done, I never worry about scratching anything with these **3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges**. I trust Scotch-Brite and Scotch-Brite doesn't let me down. The reverse, plain sponge side of the pad is strong and it takes a lot to wear it out. It's great for anything any other sponge is used for, but better because it's stronger and more durable than other sponges. I boil mine after I use them, so that I know any bacteria the sponge picked up is all dead and it's safe to use the sponges again. **3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges **cost a little more than other brands like them, but they are trustworthy and durable and that makes them worth their price. Sometimes you get what you pay for and when it comes to these Scotch-Brite Sponges, that it definitely the case. I wouldn't trust any other type of scrubbing or scouring pad to not scratch my cooktop and/or other surfaces and crystal, silverware, etc..the way I trust **3M Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges**. When we purchased our cooktop a few years back, I immediately began looking for products that would clean the cooktop without damaging it. It is black and would show every scratch that might appear. I found these sponges and read the directions. I must admit, even to this day, I don't understand how this scrubbing sponge can clean and take off stubborn stains without scratching the finish!! It feels rough to the touch but it does a marvelous job of cleaning. I use a cream specially made for the cooktop to help clean and polish and the scrubbing part of the sponge to take off any burned food. Then just finish polishing the cooktop with a clean, soft cloth. I appreciate that there are items such as this sponge to help me keep this cooktop looking like new. I also appreciate that these sponges seem to last forever. I have never had one break apart. I throw them in the dishwasher along with my dishes. I highly recommend this sponge as a great tool to help keep appliances such as my cooktop looking like new.
