Because I'm the owner of two dogs, and one cat, I'm constantly fighting pet hair.  I love my animals, but I do get tired of the hair that sticks to clothing.  For the longest time, I would keep a large roll of packing tape handy, and roll it up into large circles, sticking it to my clothing to remove the pet hair.  Then a friend of mine told me about the 3M Lint Roller, and I've been using it ever since.

There is nothing fancy or confusing about the 3M Lint Roller.  It is basically a roll of stick tape with a handle.  The roll of tape twirls easily, which allows you to roll it over clothing (or any other material) easily, and it effectively removes all the lint or hair from the material.  Then, you  tear off the used piece of tape, and store it till you're ready to use it again.

The 3M Lint Roller works great on:

  • Clothing
  • Furniture
  • Curtains & Drapes
  • Bedding
  • Tablecloths
  • Towels
  • Walls
  • Tables
  • and so on.....

The 3M Lint Roller comes with 30 white adhesive high-tack adhesive tape sheets.  The layers are attached continuously, and are perforated for easy removal.   It's lightweight, and very inexpensive to purchase.  I believe I paid $ 3.00 - $ 4.00 for mine.  Once you have the roller, you can just buy refill packs that only contain the adhesive tape rolls.  Although I use my lint roller often, it still lasts a long time because the tape is very sticky and holds a lot of lint/hair at one time.

Just because I'm a pet owner doesn't mean this product is just for people with pets.  No way!  The 3M Lint Roller is really great for everyone because we all get stuck with lint on our clothes from regular laundry use.  A few swipes of the 3M Lint Roller will quickly & easily remove all of that though, leaving your clothes looking fresh & lint free.

Now, I want to make it clear that the 3M Lint Roller ONLY picks up surface lint and hair.  It will not remove anything that's buried deep down, or embedded in furniture or clothing.  It will only remove what is on the surface.  But it does an excellent job with that!

Try a Fur-Zoff instead, it will save you a lot of money and it is eco-friendly. Check it out at http://www.furzoff.net.

I was going to suggest the duct tape ;+) When I go to my brother's house who has 11 dogs and several cats I just borrow one of his large t-shirts and put it over my clothes. That way his shirt gathers animal fur and not mine ;+) Oh he loves me ;+)

My son HAS to have at least two of these nearby. He hates any kind of hair or lint on ANYTHING. I am always buying him refills. I use these too. They're lifesavers when you have pets like I do.

This sounds like a great product for a household with furry pets! Great review!

You nailed it. A really useful product at our two-dog, one-cat household, too.
