The LG 32" LCD TV is one TV that is hard to beat in quality and price. After reading through the many reviews about the LG TV and trying to decide between the LG or the Sony LCDTVs, I finally decided to purchase the LG TV a few weeks ago through CircuitCity.com. For the sale price of $699.00 minus $70.00 (10% off using a Circuit City promotional code), no shipping and handling, and no Virginia state sales tax ( a one-time weekend offer), I would say I did pretty good with a price of $629.00.
The TV was FedExed to my home within a week. First at a glance of the owner's manual, it took me a moment to figure out which front and back panel information, stand installation, and cable management instructions belonged to my specific model TV. The installation was a breeze. Turning on TV I activated the Auto Scan to automatically find all channels available. It took several minutes to look for the channels....no problem. Then I examined the picture quality. At first I found the colors a little too bright for my taste. With a little adjustment of the picture mode and the picture looked perfect. I found the adjustment with the backlight and the "real cinema" advanced control gave me the best picture.
I would highly recommend this TV. The 32" screen is not too big / not too small. It looks great in our bedroom on top of our high chest of drawers. As the manual says, it is a good idea to anchor the TV when placing the TV on its stand either by anchoring it from the back of the TV to the wall or using the available screw to anchor from the stand to the table.
