I come to bury 300, not to praise it;
The evil that men do lives after them,
The good is oft interred with their bones,

Come I to speak of 300's stupidity ...
It was a stupid and mindless film to me:
But reviewers says it was ambitious;
And reviewers are honorable folks....
300 hath brought many near naked men to the screen,
Whose claim was that they were Greek:
Did this in 300 seem ambitious?
When that women have cried that adventure was boring?
Ambition should be made of manly stuff:
Yet reviewers say that 300 was ambitious;
And reviewers are honorable writers.
You all did see that on the screen
The story teller did talk like a pirate,
Which he did lose an eye to look like one too?
Yet reviewers say 300 was ambitious;
And, sure, all reviewers are honorable people.
I speak not to disprove what reviewers spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love 300, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then to say it was stupid?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish scenes,
And film lovers have lost their reason.... Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin where 300 should be,
And I must never watch this movie again.
