Not a historical movie, not historically accurate, Soulless, not for children, Full of American Freedom cliches, Not for everyone, Too many scantily clad men, Terrible acting, No characterization, totally predictable, It has a Narrator!!, Historically Inaccurate, 2 hours of blood and gore, Fights just repeat over and over again

So here is the basic scoop on "300" (in other words, this is why I hated it): 1) No Characterization at all - I won't really call it bad acting because since the actors didn't have squat to work with (this is most important to me because I am first and foremost, when it comes to film and theater, an actor). 2) Narrator - I don't need my intellegence insulted by some dude explaining to me what I am watching 3) American Freedom cliches - enough said 4) I suppose that the cinematography was alright - the fighting got old after about 10 minutes, though - spartan flips persian (or various kinds) over his shield in slow-mo, stabs him in slow-mo, and then blood sprays everywhere in slow-mo - After a while I thought the fighting was just being looped 5) Totally predictable - enough said
