Let's get something out of the way up front.  Rudi Xeno has a thing for Rachael Ray.  Yes it's true.  I fell for this woman watching my very first episode of 30 Minute Meals.  So, Veronica, John, I'm sorry but you'll just have to deal with it.

Besides having a decent collection of her shows burned...

I bought "30 Minute Meals -2" several years ago. I have found only a couple of recipes that I really like. I have used some of her other cookbooks and have found that they have much better, tastier recipes. I like 365: No Repeats, there are a lot of recipes & a lot of variety.

Rachel Ray's book 30 Minute Meals 2, is a great book with a lot of great recipes for those of us sometimes in a hurry!  I prefer to make recipes that are first good, then easy.  I have found myself reaching for this book, though, when I am in a real hurry and have to find something quick.  Most of the ingredients for some of the stand by recipes I have on hand regularly.  That makes it much quicker when I don't have to shop for the ingredients, too.  I can grab the book, and look for quick and easy recipes.  My family has not disliked anything that I have found in the book yet!

I love these 30 minute meals cookbooks.  The recipes are easy and require ingredients that you usually have on hand.  No crazy things that you never would have.  Can easily be adapted to Weight watchers.  I highly recommend this book.  There are a lot of kid friendly and family friendly recipes.  Good for the person who is on the go alot.

Richal Ray is definitely  a master of simple, quick food preparation. And her recipies mostly are very appealing, because it doesn't take hardly any time to prepare any of her dishes. Just chop, add, mix and lay out... that's more or less about it. Sometimes it's OK, but eventually you would like to try something more substancial, with more quality and flair. But for everyday use, considering our very hectic life style, these recipies are quite handy. Check it out for yourself! I recommend it.

Before Rachael Ray 30 minute meals I was a bad cook! I could barely make Broccoli and Cheese or Mac and Cheese if you will! I couldn't cook at all! I got this book, started watching Rachael Ray on television and I now get the magazine Everyday with Rachael Ray and I just loveeee her! The only thing I do not like is all the pasta dishes she does. She knows she makes a lot of pasta dishes because she thinks pasta is cheap and affordable for everyone and thats true but it gets annoying all that pasta!! :) Anyways, its a large book it has quite a few recipes, ones that I make all the time now. Such...

I love to cook.  Until recently never owned a cookbook. When I had plenty of time, I could spend hours in the kitchen creating, but as life gets more hectic and time has become an issue, I need to prepare quick, nutritious meals for my grandchildren.  Rachel Ray's cookbooks have come in handy.  Although not as organized as Rachel, I am able to prepare her meals in one hour or less.  The kids love them, my husband loves them and I love them.  Everybody is happy.  Rachel Ray is a good send for families on the go that desire something more than fast food.  I own no less than 5 of her books. ... read full review »

I watch 30 minute meals all of the time. When I am not home it is recording. Sometimes she fixes things that I know that I would not like just because of the ingredients but most of her recipes are easy and I can find most of the ingredients easily. The recipes I have fixed (and I have tried several) have all turned out great. I usually add or subtract or season differently but her recipes are a great starting point for new ideas. Just pick the ones that appeal to your particular likes and you will love this cook book.

I have eaten the cooking of many great chefs and cooks, Rachel's recipes are indeed easy to follow but the dishes are just not tasty and are mostly Bleh.  There are not a lot of photos probably since the dishes are not visually appealing.  Cooking is an art for the senses and when the senses just get treated to Bleh, everything is down hill from there.  I just do not understand why Rachel is so popular since most of her recipes are just not appealling.

I liked to watch rachel ray on tv but it got old after a while.  I have tried many of her books and they are good if you want simple easy meals. That's the whole point behind 30 minute meals, right?  My issue with it is that the meals are kinda boring.  I like to see pictures with every recipe also.  I like to compare hers with mine but in this book there aren't many pics.  It was fine but not exciting.

Rachel's dishes in this book are wonderful. I made the stuffed potatoes for my husband and three children and they loved it.

It is easy to follow, has ingredients that are not hard to find, and all the recipes I have tried have been a smash with my family.

I don't have to mention how great it is when something is done in less than 30 minutes do I?

Rachel Ray was once what I thought would be my kitchen idol.  I loved her at first. Now she is overrated with a new book popping in and out of print so fast I cannotkeep up.  the recipes are simple but I am tired of her.  Come up with something new and then get at me, Rachel. Rachel's fake persona is rally annoying now where it was once cute.

Well, I just bought 2 Rachel Ray books and have made a few of the recipes.  So far I haven't received any complaints from the family, even the picky 10 year old.  I have to admit though, if they do need a little doctoring I will do so.  I love Rachel Ray, her personality is so bubbly and positive you can't help but listen to her.

I just love Rachael Ray, especially her down to earth personality.  I love all of her cookbooks!  Her recipes are so easy to follow and even my picky 5 year old enjoys it.  I love the quick recipes, since I am a working mother.  I actually have time to prepare a homecooked meal my whole family will eat.

I love all of Rachael Ray's 30 Minute Meal books but this is the one that I generally go to when looking for a quick dinner idea.    Rachael has made it easy for anyone to cook.   I highly recommend this book for the beginner cook as well as the experienced cook just looking for some new ideas.
