At the recommendation of some friends, I decided to try Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred. Although I don't use this product as tended (30 straight days in a row), I use it as a substitute on the days that I don't go to the gym. I've been doing these workouts for about three weeks now (I just started level 2) and I can already tell a difference. My legs and arms are a bit more toned and I just feel better about myself overall.
I love the fact that in 30 minutes you are done and in those 30 minutes, I feel that I have really achieved a great workout. I'm looking forward to see what level 3 is all about. Jillian pushes you through these workouts as well, she's encouraging and keeps you going.
For the 30-Day Shred, you only need weights (I currently use three pound weights, but my friends have used one, three and five) and a mat if you're on a hard surface. The DVD was affordable (under $15) and has proven to be a success. I have recommended this DVD to a few other friends.
