30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels — 

I have tried almost every work out DVD on the market. I have too many Billy Blanks and Taebo DVDs to count and while I love them I was looking for a work out video that included some weight lifting because I read that lifting moderate weights increases your metabolism thereby helping to increase the amount of calories burned during the day. And that increased muscle mass helps lose weight much faster when the body is at rest. I have watched Jillian Michaels on the Biggest Loser for several seasons now and was eager to see if she kicks butt for the home viewer on her DVD and boy does she deliver! The beginner level is so hard! I was so winded the first time I tried it but I kept with it and boy do I look great! It is definitely a program that you can stick with for a while and not get bored because you are trying so hard to keep up with her! I thisnk her system of circuit training is the key. You do a little cardio then weights then back and forth never letting your body get to used to doing one thing. It really is an effect and interesting way to workout and get a nice tone!
