3:10 to Yuma —
3:10 to Yuma is by far one of the best westerns I have seen in the past 10 years. It is the story of a farmer who has had a rough time making ends meet while having the challenge of being respected by his wife and son. He finds himself given a chance to make things right by enlisting within a group of men who have been hired on to escort a well known stage coach robber to the 3:10 train to Yuma. As the story progresses, the farmer's story is laid out slowly and you get a chance to find out what he is really like and who is truly is, as well as getting to know more about the robber he is escorting, as they go through a series of tough situations that are dangerous to them all...to say the least. It is a good story without being too campy, and kept my attention well throughout the movie.
