This game is amazing! The lighting is really well done. The water effects will make you drool. The combat is somewhat sporatic, which helps keep you on your toes for the majority of the game. The enemy AI is aggresssive, but in a good way. It makes for really good fights. The ability to upgrade your weapons is a welcome feature, as even the standard enemies seem to get tougher as the game progresses. The game is not without its flaws, though. The hacking mini-game is more reminiscent of a plumbing mess than the internal workings of a machine. Med kits are ******* everywhere, which takes the edge off of the game. But, the biggest flaw in my opinion is the Vita-Chambers. With these, death is a thing of the past. If you "die", you simply reappear at the nearest chamber with half life, all your guns, the same amount of ammo that you had when you "died", and the in-game situation is exactly the same as when you died. This in turn eliminates the need to approach battles with a sense of caution.

As for the story, I don't wish to spoil anything, so I will simply say that is one of the best written stories in a game that I have ever read.
